With piercing, uncompromising honesty, this album challenges Christians to take a long, hard look beneath the surface of our neat Sunday morning veneer. Can we worship God when we are hurting? Are our eyes open to the need around us, can we hear the calls for help? Do we honestly care enough? Do we give hope, do we offer second chances, do we embrace those who have failed?? The songs in this album simply leave no room for us to hide. And if our reflections offer us a picture far removed from God’s dream for His church, the songs lead us back to a place of grace, a place where we can try again.
